The company has offices in London, Zurich, and Gibraltar, which will require some international travel on an occasional basis. It is envisaged that this role can be performed on a ‘hybrid’ basis of 1-2 days per week in the office, the remainder working remotely.

Key duties:

·      Manage helpdesk, DevOps, and technical support staff.

·      Working with regulators, auditors, and others to ensure IT regulatory and financial compliance.

Background about the role:

This new role has been created following the moving on of the existing IT Manager (who has reported to the Finance Director). The Senior Leadership Team have concluded that IT needs to play a more significant role in the business, and so a new role has been created, with the incoming IT Director reporting instead to the CEO.

The new IT Director will also be required to drive a process of ‘technology renewal' across the organisation, reflecting the changing operating environment and the realisation that more colleagues are working remotely/from home.
